Ideal location for our visit to an ancient roman theatre around 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel...

Romantic hotel, staff were outstandingly helpful and the location was magnificent to Expo in Milano. The room was reasonably large and elegant with many mirrors and it had wake-up service, that's cool. There were a safe, television, and a mini fridge bar too. The public parking was nearby, good service.
It had not comfortable beds, maybe it was bad luck.

Historical significance of hotel decor, Charming eclectic furnishings, Beautiful garden for relaxation
Room sizes could benefit from more space to breathe!!! Bathroom fixtures need a modern upgrade!!! Parking arrangements in pedestrian zones complicate access!!! Some rooms face noise from the street!!!

I loved the elegant decor of the room, especially the plush Persian carpets and comfortable seating area. The breakfast each morning was good, with freshly baked pastries and a wide selection of organic juices. The staff were attentive.

We liked the character of the hotel and the fact it was within walking distance of everything in Verona.
It doesn't have a restaurant which is extremely odd for a 5 star hotel! The room could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom. We had a superior suite and it was quite cramped, a bit of a letdown.

It was very warm and they provided us with a large fan. They don't turn on the AC in Italy until they decide to . . . You can pay a lot for an air conditioned hotel and not get air conditioning.
The lady at the desk told us it was a short walk to a nearby church, and it was a very long walk. She should have advised us take a taxi because the church closed before we could get there.

This hotel exudes charm and character, with beautifully decorated rooms and attentive staff. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the main attractions. The room felt somewhat cramped, and we wished for better amenities in the bathroom. A good experience!
